I want to be Mayor of the City of Norwalk but I don’t want to be any old mayor. I want to be a mayor who advocates relentlessly for progress and improvement, and who does it with urgency.
I want to be a mayor who interacts and communicates with all our residents, who fosters a city in which our citizens are in touch with one another. I want to be a mayor who has little tolerance for “can’t” and “it’s too tough.”
I want to be a mayor who makes Norwalk the place it can be, with a consistent focus on educating and empowering its citizens and enhancing life for all.
We don’t have that kind of mayor now and it shows.
But we have an opportunity to change that.
Throughout the months of 2013, I will campaign as tirelessly to be mayor as I will work once I am mayor. My campaign will engage Norwalkers to hear their opinions and learn their solutions and build our platform based on what you tell us.
Our campaign will connect with our community personally and emotionally to grasp what’s really going. That’s the only way we can improve our community. And together, we can. We can win this election and start making things happen.
Whatever you can do to help our effort, please do. Sign up for emails, share our posts, re-tweet our tweets.
Hitting the contribution button helps, too.
So it’s in our hands: Let’s demand Norwalk’s Future Now!
